Offroading in Colorado?

Has anyone ever rode here? Up in Ouray and Silverton you can do some of that crazy cliffhanging stuff. Whole lot of fun. I personally have never been mudding though. (I drive an XL F-150, so we used Jeeps.)

My whole life, and have done it with everything with wheels on it, or a track in certain seasons. Any area in particular you want to know about?

can shoot me a pm or email about the Winter Park area. Going to be spending some time there this summer. Did the Winter Park side of the Moffitt Trail a couple years ago. Will be using my f-150 so can't go crazy.

Sorry Jolly, sounds like you've already done what I have in that area. Rollins pass is what I did. I did a fun little trail on it called Jenny's Creek Trail I believe, but you would get a lot of rocky mountain pin striping doing it. You are close to Rocky Mountain National Park, not a lot of 4X4 trails in the park, but it doesn't get much prettier than that.

Alpine Loop

I did the Alpine loop from Lake City in a Jeep. It was a white knuckle experience, but it was fun and worth it.

The Jeep did an outstanding job on the steep rocky road and many switchbacks. It just purred right along.
