So, I found out about the Bi-annual Perry Bog about 6:30 Friday night. About 7:00pm, I was headed east on I-10 so as not to miss the wonderful event. If you've never been and you live in the southeast, my advice to you is to make plans for the October event. There's really no organization or competition to it, its just a bunch of guys tearing up a 40 acre pond thats anywhere from 6 inches to 6 foot deep. Luckily for you guys, I remembered my camera! I figured you off-road boys would enjoy some of these.

This motto kinda summed up the whole event.


Not an F-150, but definately a Ford. It had a 514 bb mounted in the bed.


Two Fords...the one thats buried the worst had 48's.


This Bronco was on tractor tires that were well north of 50 inches.

 

The largest Ford in attendance, much less the biggest one I've ever seen in person that wasnt a sponsered monster truck.


Another one of the Ford and a Dodge that showed up just to pose for pictures. I think the guy said it had something like 1100 hp.

haha broncos are offroad beast but they dont look good lifted in my opinion

 

I missed it this go around it is about 30min away from my house. If you want to see what you need to make it through perry check out these sites. They are some locals that were there, check out the second site it shows you why the 1100hp dodge was only there taking picture. We have a local shop here that produces some nasty trucks (www.wakullaoffroad.com). Oh well Here ya go If you dont have 2&1\2 ton rockwells, a monster big block/diesel, and combine/tractor tires you just aren't going to make it in Perry Forida.
