Tacomas are badass little trucks. Best in their class. If it was tundra thats another story.

im going to have to agree with jbmx on that one, i wouldnt be embarrassed one bit if a tacoma pulled me out of something, but that might be b/c i had a tacoma before i had this truck, honest to God, that was the best truck i ever had... i had a 1995 ext cab v6 5spd with the big tire package from the factory (31x10.50 with the 4.56 gears). The list of trucks i pulled out includes Z71's, FX4s, rangers, nissans, tundra, s10s, a titan, a mazda, numerous other toyotas, and a few jeeps including two rubicons; i pulled out a supercrew f150 once and a couple of different ext cab f150s on several occasions...those trucks have amazing torque and can put the power to the ground...i am seriously considering getting rid of my supercrew and getting another tacoma, the old body style prior to the midsizing of the truck..like a 2003 or early 2004 model with the TRD package, 5 spd and v6 in the ext cab body...its a proven truck that can walk around a lot of other vehicles offroad

yeah there nice and you have pulled them out blah blah but he is the boss. So basically its like him pulling me out everyday until I die, because all I hear is on the yota pulled out a Ford the Ford coudn't cross the ditch its goes on and on and on all day long. Do you see those people that you have pulled out by your yota everyday.

one of them I do because i work with him, two others i see between 3 and 5 times a week but thats because they are both really good friends of mine..but i dont bring it up..haha...weve all been there at one point or another and i know that when and if i needed a pull they would be there for me pulling my ford out now...just one of those things ya gotta laugh off and be glad that someone was there to pull you out, better to be pulled out by a yota than have your truck still sitting in that ditch huh?

It really doesn't matter what kind of truck you've got... If you got the same ground clearance, same 4x4 setup, same tires and lift... you should be equal.

There IS NO better unless you up the mods, which of course if done to any truck, could match the other truck if the same were to be done to it.

thats thing all of the guys that crossed it have 35inch Mud Grapplers or another true mud tire and a suspension lift. I am rolling stock suspension on your basic Mud terrain tire. I got stuck it happeneds but I went back around and crossed that thing.

I was in Afghanistan for a year, and nothing worked better in that harsh environment than Yodas. Considering how light they are compared to full size trucks, and bullet proof their drivetrains are, it's easy to see why you find yourself getting pulled out my one.

Don't worry about it; I've seen plenty of Youtube vids of Toyotas pulling Hummers out of the dessert.

Examples: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fWfwn2D_Ek4, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0lowI7RBuvk,

Offroading is 90% driver. You proved that when you went back and crossed the ditch without getting stuck. Don't let the Toyota pulling you out get you down. You were set up. Congrats on having the ***** to go back and try it again, and succeeding.

Offroading is alot about the driver. But really that Taco weights in at alot less, has better breakover angles and a decent motor tires and a lift. Im not suprised your having trouble following him. Dont let it get to ya, lift that truck and lock the rear end then go back and show him whats up
