New tires off road

Well I forgot to take my camera with me, but theres really nothing to have taken pictures of though. Other than some cool outdoor scenery and some wildlife. I took it easy, cuz I was by myself. There are miles of trails on the Eglin AFB reservation, and I got to see some of them today. All it took was a trip to the Jackson Guard and $7 for a reservation permit. There is a clay pit that my freinds and I used to go 'wheeling at when I was in high school, and I was able to find it again! Some sweet hills to climb, a few creek crossings, and lots of deep sand. No mud to mention, as it has been really dry here in NW Florida lately. I plan on going back soon, and I will remember to bring my camera!

The jackson guard is the agency that handles the Eglin AFB reservation where the public is concerned. It is located in Niceville, on Highway 85 just north of Highway 20. The reservation is the part of the AFB that has bombing ranges, hunting areas, bass ponds, camping areas, and miles of maintained dirt roads and wheeling trails. Antyone can get a permit to access the reservation for $7, but if you want to hunt or fish, then the necessary state licenses are also required, which can also be purchased at the Jackson Guard. The reservation encompasses the northern third of Okaloosa and Walton counties, and when you get your permit, the Jackson Guard will also give you a free map of the areas that are open for recreational use. The roads are marked by number, generally on a 4x4 wood post about 3 feet high at major intersections. I have provided a link to the Jackson Guard for those wanting more information. Any more questions, feel free to ask! Follow the link and click on Eglin AFB Hunting, Fishing & Outdoor Recreation Program at the top of the page!

No, I haven't! I'm not sure I know where that is. Is it on the reservation? Where have you seen me? Around town? Maybe I have seen your truck too! Theres a few guys on the forum from the Panhandle. We need to go muddin' together!
BTW, you should sign in on the Panhandle thread in the regional forum (southeast)
