Exclamation water damage....HELP!!!

I was offroading when i fell into a deep hole. water came into my truck and was up to my seats. After about an hour i was pulled out and towed home. I tried to start my truck but it would only turn over no fire. I drained my oil and alot and i mean alot of (for lack of better wording) coffee w/ creamer colored fluid drained out. i havent checked my transmission or differentials yet. After the fluids what should my next step be? Also my door buzzer goes off when i open the door w/ no key in the ignition. What should or can i do if anything........???

well pull the plugs and turn her over and let the water out of the pistons. Dry off distributor cap, change the oil a whole bunch of times ( just go out and buy the cheapest oil you can find. Flush raditator, diffs, tranny, transfercase oils until clean. Get new plugs clean the throttle body. Did the carp and stuff get wet too?

I've never done that in my truck but once i drove my golf cart ( 8" lift, 18 HP Briggs on 26'S) into a mud hole over my seat and i just set a fan blowing on my fuse block and electircal system for 2 days. Make sure you get rid of ANY mud too...

thanks for the help guys. i drained all the fluids, cleaned my spark plugs, and cleaned all my electrical connections and the truck seems to be running fine. is there anything else i can do? should i have to worry about anything failing from this incident later down the road?

Sell it now. There's no fixing the corrosion that's going to start on your electrical stuff.

My starter went out after my trip into the water I only had the drivers side under though. It has been 3 months since that happened and I haven't experienced any other problems. Of course I didn't go in half as deep as you.

thats exactly what happend when i sank my tacoma in a deep hole mudriding one night.. and i mean exactly, even the whole door buzzer issue...total pain in the rear...i managed to get insurance to cover mine b/c issues just kept coming up.. lights quit working like a month after the fact...cruise went on and off...the problems will never stop i guarantee it...cost my insurance company $5000 at the dealership replacing all my electrical components b/c all my fuseboxes were under water... the truck caught fire six months later underneath the dash in the cab...exactly where all the water got a hold of the fuseboxes and wiring..the fire destroyed the entire truck...just goes to show that the problems will only worsen..so definitely sell it now
