The power line trails that run along Highway 59. You can see them from Lincoln rd too.

Oh ok. It's been about 10 years since I've been back. Looks like fun.

03fx4, thats the spot i was telling you about a while back in response to another post.. I havent taken my supercrew out there yet..dont like the idea of getting her dirty after i sank my tacoma up to the door handles in one spot out there, there was one helacious hole right where the lake to the west of the powerlines has its spillway...it just holds water year round and people rut it up pretty bad...pretty easy to cross if you keep the peddle down, but ifyou try and creep across in low range its a deep sink for sure..ended up costing my insurance company $5000 in repair work at the toyota dealership....did yall come in on the richburg rd side, or on the lincoln rd side..b/c here recently the doctor that owns all that land put up a fresh barb wire fence across the lincoln road entrance, i havent gotten around to checking if they have put up a new fence on the richburg rd side...

One of the guys in my club talked to the owner of the land and said that we could ride on it. Yeah that area next to the lake is pretty bad. I think I know which hole your talking about where you sunk your yota. Its nasty I haven't tried it yet with my truck, because I don't ride with anybody big enough to pull me out if I get stuck. We have gone in at the lincoln side and richburg side.

i cant believe that the owner said it was ok...guess that just goes to show how much showing respect for someone elses land can do for you....b/c i know he just put up barb wire b/c of how much we were all riding in there...i think he was worried about a lawsuit b/c every weekend that place would get packed with people in trucks, jeeps, etc...and then another group on 4 wheelers... really popular spot to ride... a good friend of mine lives just on the other side of that lake so we can get in to the power lines from the dam on the lake...and you can come in from the back parking lot of the lincoln center complex right down the road..there is a big drop off behind the parking lot where some construction is going on and a nasty muddy trail/road that winds its way back and thru the woods almost to the lake and then cuts east heading straight into the power lines
