Has anyone been up to there to go wheeling in there trucks. I am planning on going up there this weekend. From what i read i believe it is legal. Is this a true statement. Also how are the campgrounds there i may do that also.

Check out the official link:

I don't see anything about 4x4 trails.

I've never been there, though. I used to live up in Sussex County, but that's been over 25 years ago now. . . . .

I have been there

Hey I have been to Wharton state park or forest. There are many trails and dirt roads that trail of the main roads that go through the park. Some range from very wide to I can barely fit with how wide my fx4 is. The few dirt trails that I went on had lots of mud and some areas where I could only go a mile to down before I had to turn around due to the narrow trails. It is a good time and there are lots of trails so one could be in the area all day and not be on the same one twice. There are also maps available at the park service office of the general area. It get plenty o muddy in some areas, but they are a good distance off those main roads. It is a great time and I want to go back again when I get a free weekend.

I've been out there before, had tons of fun....good place to wheel. The trails I have found however seem to be mostly sand
