I'm going to be spending about two weeks in and arround Winter Park, Colorado. You can see from my sig, I have a few power mods but no suspension mods. I do have the more aggressive stock all terrain wrangler tires. Anyone know of some off road trails that my vehicle would be able to tackle in that area? Nothing too extreme but I would like to have a little fun with it while I'm there.

Thanks

Go prepared, get a decent strap (at least 30'x3"). Make sure you have a large diameter chain, and/or attach points (shackle hitch) to hook the strap up to. Lastly, you'll need a vehicle to pull you out. You're going to regret going unprepared (the worst feeling ever) but just make sure you don't regret going. I can go on but I will be repeating myself from other offroad threads (read up ).

Make sure you have a come-along, like a hi-lift, strap like Josiah said, a spotter and someone to pull you out, plenty of gas, a spare tire, and extra fluids. It will be rocky..

that's a bit more rough that what I'm looking for. Went up to the Arapaho Wilderness area today and it was just about right. A few lighter off road trails and a suprisingly rough road up to a resivoir. Didn't get much but at least go my hands on some trout. Hoping to find somewhere else about Tues.

if the trail makes you think twice i wouldnt do it just to be safe.
youve got a good looking truck and it would suck to tear it up.
have fun

like they said, if you even wonder if you'll be able to do it, then don't do it, you've got a nice ride and those rocks will sure take that from you in a heart beat...

Good luck..._motes
