It's your belt squealing. Grab a gatorback and slap it on there, it's $40 tops.

It's a belt. Changing terpentine belts is very easy, all you need is a 1/2" drive socket wrench to use on the tensioner pulley.

Its not the fan belt I know because when I had to replace the motor I put a new one on there.

It sounds like it is in the transmission and only on a very high rpm shift say around 5-6000 when i'm really gettin into it

My money is on the belt. That's exactly what it does when the belt slips.

Sweet pics! I get that same squeak every now and then when my truck shifts to second under high rpm's. But I all so think that it is my belt since it has 105,000 miles of wear on it. It has been doing it for 8 months and if it was tranny it would have blown by know with the way I drive. I'm going to try a Gatorback as well, a lot of people on here have solved that same squeak that way.

this is a slightly old thread but man that looks like fun! I feel you se12t on that interior. A pain to clean. Always remember to roll up the windows! I know from experience as well

You know I took my kids to see the movie "Cars" this past weekend.

Great movie but at the end there was an Army jeep who had a bunch of jacked-up and H2 type trucks lined up.

"OK sissies...if you are trucks we're gonna treat you like trucks"

"We're gonna get mud in places you didn't know you had"

He leads them off road and presumably into mud.

The H2 with spinners tip-toes into the dirt....

I busted out laughing...it was so true.

No one else got it.

I love my Lariat but dang it....she's gonna earn her keep by entertaining me.
