In cape sand blas fl you can drive on the beach. It is cheap if you live within the county but if you live outside of the county it cost like 125 or more for a year from purchase. you can drive any thing on the beach along as it has a sticker on it.

there are a few places in cali were you can drive on the beach, you have to get on the Marine base Camp Pendleton to get there tho, it is free too

Its $20 for an annual pass at S. Padre Island National Sea Shore. But no u cannot drive from Port Aransas to South Padre because of the are channels and cuts that run through the beach. But Big Shell down there is a blast!

I'm from Pismo Beach, Ca and you can drive on the beach and camp for $12 a night or $125 a year. Beautiful sand with lots of dunes to drive around on.
