For the New body style trucks, I asked this question a long time ago and there was actually a fairly expensive axle swap kit for about $4k (I may be totally off), it was a 4-link susp. kit. To me, it's not worth it unless you're rock crawling on the Moab or up Fordyce. You will never need flex like that unless you're doing those. We get away with IFS out here because most of us are mudders.

I've done a SAS to my truck... you can see all the pics here http://fordtruckworld.tenmagazines.c...38-album-38639

I used a '76 F-150 front axle, Cage Offroad radius arms, Skyjacker 9" coil springs for the '70s F-150, '70s upper coil mounts, heim joint steering, custom fabbed track bar setup, heim joint track-bar.

It works great.

Here's a pic after the swap....

Let me know if you have any questions.

fabritech is the only company that i know of that makes a bolt on SAS, i have read that it is not a very good kit, i will be doing a custom SAS on my 03 in a few years or when a quality kit hits the market

i am looking at doing this to my 99 f150. I have looked at all the kits out there, and they are all the same and of not so great quality. I am designing my own 4 link system right now. I have all the measurements, it is just time for me to put ti all into suspension anylizer, crunch out some numbers, and then draw it up. Hopefully i can finish this project before the summer time comes around, so I'll keep everyone posted.

I have done a SAS on my brothers 89 bronco. It was a good bit of work and I would not recomend it unless you are advanced in fabrication. I will post some pics of the project tomorrow. You can see a few pics at www.xwerx.net
