Just got off LBI

Well i was down at LBI and before my permit expires i took my 2003 F150 5.4 liter screw out on the beach i was ignorant and didnt want to take the time to air down the crappy goodyear tires. Well anyway just wanted to share that the screw did an awsome job and i put it threw some tough stuff at the end when i suddenly found out that i was in no mans land and i was makeing my own tracs threw wet sand that the water just was on prolly not to long a go. man i love this truck i feel like it could pull a house down if i wanted it to. It may not be a speed demon but it aint supposed to be. Anyone Else have experience with beach ridin with there ford trucks

Not yet, I have a place at Assateauge Island VA and can't wait to take my new FX4 out there. It will be nice to finally be able to haul all my fishing gear in the back and not have to walk.

No beach riding, although I did go throught a really muddy swamp today though. Came to a halt in 4x4 low lock and had to reverse. The water got to about 3 feet deep and I did not want to continue.

Same here, I had to reverse out of some muck about 2 days ago, water is in my carpet a bit and it smells like fish. Absolutely horrid smell, and I'm going to disneyland (6 hour drive) having to smell that crap. It's actually clearing up however, I am going to shampoo it.

I was on the beach the other day in Brick with my 02 Lariat Scab FX4. The Fords are good in the soft sand. I did air down though just to be on the safe side.

have had my old 95 and my present 97 out a million times at the jersey shore and down in the outerbanks. I love driving in the sand and just parking and fishing off of the shore. I always make some cash towing stuck people out also.
