Lockers....
Lockers....
I don't know what lockers are...is thier a super low gear in the diff(s) that you can lock in, than return to normal?
Would Ltd slip diff and Gm type possi diff be adaptable for lockers?
I watched trucks this Sunday, Stacey happend to mention the Jeep Cherokee he was playing with did not have lockers...
I have driven five ton five speed split shift trucks, basicly a ten speed trans, same idea here?

no, what they refer to as a locker is a means of locking the axles in your differental together to get both tires to receive the same amount of wheel speed, a LS will do the same thing just not as well, a LS takes more wheel speed to activate as a locker does not rely on wheel speed, there are many diffrent types of lockers and LS diffs out there and lots of difrent ways they function, but they all are trying to do the same thing get all the tires on the axle to get traction by getting the same amount of power from the driveshaft split evenly left to right, that is as easy as i can explain it i could go into more detail if you would like, i hope i anwered your ?
