Im in the process of buying a 89 F-150 5.0 2wd, short bed super cab beater truck. My friend and I are planning to take the bed off and converting to flat bed, relocating the fuel tank to the rear of the cab, fab up some sort of rear headache rack with braces running from the top to somewhere over the rear axle. The doors are comming off and bars are going across (somewhat like the jeeps). The inside of the cab is going to be stripped and racing seats with 4 point belts are going in. Strait exaust coming out the side. Im thinking about a 3inc. lift with 33's.

Open to any suggestions or ideas!

 

sounds cool be sure to post some pics, i would lift it more than that and add larger tires but that is just me
