Wnt offroading and ..

Well yesterday i tested my new 6" fabtech lift and my 35" bfg mud terrains and ripped it up. I was getting trough pits that nobody else could and man was i proud. Nothing bad at all went wrong.

Today i took it to the self clean car wash to get the georgia red clay off, filled 2 stalls haha. My qestion is that now i have a vibration at around 40 mph. The same thing happend to me when i did this with my stock fx4 and then as more mud came off the vibration went away. Could this be because my truck, or driveshaft, is off balance because one side has less mud on it than the other. I had no vibration before i cleaned it so i am hopping that this is the situtuation. Any help or comment would be appreciated.

alot of things could couse this mud on driveshaft in one of your rims throwing it off balance things like that just make sure you get that mud off there as soon as you can it could dry and make it alot harder to get off

Thanx

I was hopping that this was what it is. I already filled two self wash stalls with mud and i guess i gotta let the rest dry and pry it off then rinse it down

Yeah, most likely you've got some mud stuck in your wheels or something like that.

Like the others have said, you might have mud on the inside of your wheels. If you still have the stock FX4 wheels you might be better off taking the wheels off and cleaning them. The area behind the spokes is hollow and will fill with mud. It is next to impossible to hose, spray or otherwise get out with the wheels on the truck. Now, where are the pics??

They are coming as soon as i can get to walgreens to get the card developed, my mom lost the link for the comp. Keep in mind i am only 17 and have alot to do, and def alot to learn. I am learning more and more every time i stick my head under there lol. It as def the mud in the wheels. I cleaned them up, jsut with the hose for now, and drove it again and absolutley no vibrations. I am gunna wait for the mud to dry and pick the rest of it out and then give it a good rinse. This seems to work the best since i have already soaked it threee time. I filled up two stalls with mud at the self clean haha. Pics are coming soon.
Bigtruck thanks again. I knew it had to be something that was rotational and i thoguht of driveshaft and i guess i wouda remembered bout the rims but you helped me as always.
