Dana 60 under a Half Ton?

Anyone know if they make 5 lug axles for the Dana 60 rears?
I just put the third 8.8 rear axle under my 1997 F150 4x4 within the last 9 months, they just can't handle 40" Boggers. So before this one breaks I want to get a Dana 60 ready for the next swap.
I have two Dana 60's ones from a 87 F350 and the others from a 83 F250. I hate to have 5 lugs in the front and 8 lugs on the rear. I could drill the hubs and re-lug em for the 5 lug pattern but i did that once on a 8.8 and it started to shear lug bolts after a while. I had just a hair to much slack in the brake drum holes, so it would shift when the rear brakes were applied. Any ideas where I might find something like that?
Mounting the leaf perches and changing the drive shaft yoke isnt a problem, but the 8 to 5 lug pattern change is whippin' me. Any Ideas greatly appreciated!

Dynatrac makes a rock ready D60 that you can order with 5 lug axles. Its very popular amoung the Jeep guys. The last I heard you could buy the outters from them. Now are these full floaters or semi floaters?

Man... thanks for the info., I'm goin to look them up right now.
The 83 is a full floater, but the 87 is a semi.

How come it doesn't show my signature below????

let us know how the swap goes...

I'm interested in hearing about the D60 swap: any particular difficulties encountered, how you got thru them, etc. I've been mulling over putting in a D60 front solid axle conversion and/or a D60 or D70 rear axle in my 2000 F150. I am wondering what problems/issues you encounter when doing the rear axle upgrade because our trucks are so similar.

TIA,

Jack
