Post Central PA

Well, I went offroading for the first time this past saturday with one of my fraternity brothers who had a 71 Bronco with 33 in BFG's and quite a bit of suspension travel. We went on the old coal mines and the surrounding areas of Shamokin PA. This place was huge. It had some technical climbing, a lot of mud puddles and some deep s@#! as well. I have a stock 99 F150 with the ORP. I bottomed out a few times and scraped up my factory side steps but did not bend them. I was able to go everywhere the bronco went. I have pictures of how the day ended up so i'll probably post them tomorrow. Let's just say, I wish I had a winch on my truck. Oh, don't go in the area that looks really swampy, cause it is!! If anyone in the area would like to go out there one weekend, I should be free in May the first few weekends.

I'd like to know where this area is. If you can bring some info to the rally on June 23rd. See you then.
