Hmm... My best bet would be to take I-70 or K-10 west for about an hour until you see nothing. Then, just go right or left into farmer Bill's yard.
Other than that, maybe the Lake of the Ozarks has some good stuff? You could also get some good BBQ and swimming in.

Have to check into the trails up near Manhattan (or Milford lake?). Not real sure. I'll see if I can get some details for ya, most of my coworkers are K-Stater's. I guess there's some pretty wild marked trails around the lake in the hills.

Cool, thanks man. I think Milford also offers dirtbike riding? I heard you have to have a semi-equipped 4X4 just to get to the riding area.

Have you been to Birmingham? Some buddies and I use to off-road there a number of years ago. You can get there from Liberty or from 210. There are some pretty big hills, some deep mud bogs and a few trails. It's been a while since I've been down there so I'm not sure if it is still open or not.

Let me know.

Oops I was off a little bit. It's up near Tuttle Creek, North of Manhattan. Here's some links we found. One guy here got to go wheelin' several times up there, I guess it's pretty wild for around here

Well I use to ride my dirtbike back there a little about 3 years ago or so, but I didn't really see too much of it appearently. Not sure if the sheriff would bother you or not.
Surprized I still haven't seen you out cruisin' around. I'm all over 35 during the week. Maybe you've seen my truck...I have the L tails now and a large, red, "Hatchetman" on the back window, and a large, white FOX sticker on the front. I'll see what I can find out about Birmingham.

AWESOME!!! Thanks Flatlander!!! I'll have to see how far it is, and get some guys together to head up there. Sounds like we could ride our dirtbikes, AND get the trucks dirty.

I don't get over to Liberty much during the week. The traffic over the bridge keeps me away. My brothers live over there so I get by on the weekends. I'll keep my eyes open for you.

See ya!

Thumbs up

Heck yea! From what I understand some of it would be too much for our full size 'nice' trucks. But I guess there's some good muddin' spots too, as well as moderate trails. Maybe we could organize a little meet up there sometime.

Sounds cool man, I'd probably be more interested in fun trails, some hill climbing, and maybe even a little muddin'.
