both ramsey and warn viod the warranty with a mile marker installed. in fact, warn insists their mount will not work with a mile marker, even though the bolt pattern is the same. i currently have a manik which bent on the first pull! thanks for the suggestions though.
manik sucks for winching, get a semi-custom mount from any of the advertisers in 4WheelDrive mag, or simmular, I can't remember any of the names off hand right now, but you can go to any HEB or whatever grocery store and pick up an off-road mag. Just look there for some good stuff.

Winch voids warranty, can they do that? I love my ramsey, no way that thing will bend. I can't believe any winch mount could break like that though. They should be rated for 18000lbs or so right? What size winch do you have?

D@mn, url is too long, looks like you have to copy/paste...
Try this: http://www.truckperformance.com/prod...RKER&sf3=F-150, scroll down to the extreme mount, too bad it's shown on a GMC, and it's not really pretty, but it's functional and it won't void your warrenty.

STOP LOOKING... FOUND IT!
Mile Marker just started making a hidden mount for my truck and it's on the way.
Just to clarify what happened with my current setup. I bought a mile marker 9000lb and needed a winch mount. Mile marker makes a grill gaurd and it is but ugly. I liked the looks of the manik, so I called them and asked if it would handle a 'real' 9000lb hydraulic winch (not one of those electric toy winches) and they swore it would. I bought the manik, installed it, and promtly bent it on the first test pull. To manik's credit, they agreed to a full refund no hassle. I then called warn, ramsey and superwinch. They all told me DO NOT use their mounts with a mile marker. If I did, they would void the warranty. When I called mile marker in desparation they told me about the new hidden mount (after laughing at me for buying the manik and repetedly telling me "I told you so").
Thanks for the replies
