Modification to Differential Vents
I have a question for all you off-road junkies, that like getting there trucks dirty. Does anybody know of any specific procedure or possible kits that can be bought to extend the vent tubes on the differentials, so water and other substance don't drain in. I know the rear vent is routed from the axle housing up to the structural member for the box, but I'm not sure where the front diff vent is routed.

Just go to the local parts store and take one of the vent hoses with you. When you get there get some more hose that is the same size. Then remove the factory hose and run the new hose where you want it. I have the rear diff hose routed to the inside of the bed near the top bed rail. The front hose is routed to the top of the firewall uder the hood. Hope this helps.
