Post Body Damage. Cool!

So when I was offroading last weekend, I high-centered by body on a rock while navagating a deep mud pit. Did a little damage to lower body between the rear wheelwell and the cab. Anyways, does anyone have some advice as to what I can do to keep this from causing further problems? I.e. rust or further deterioration? Thanks

I feel your pain brother. I've already replaced my entire bed because of damage lol. I'm seriously looking at some industrial strength skid plates because I've dinged by frame myself. I just keep painting over the places until someone has a better idea.

Urban Cowboy, got any pictures?
I have a bent front skid plate, bent muffler, bent cross member, and a small dent where the nerf bars pushed up on the cab. I have one deep scratch to the metal down one side of the truck and the whole bed of my truck is scratched to the metal, and I have no signs of rust.

Yup, Mudder, we are. And we ought to bring our trucks to one of your shows in TX just for laughs Think we'll get any awards? I'd get the "No Detailing will ever make this truck look new" award.

Urban Cowboy how bad is it? If you have a small amount of metal exposed you could just use touch of paint. If you plan on getting it fixed in the future put a layer of primer on it.

Its pretty good sized I suppose. Dug in like an inch deep into that afformentioned panel. I dont have any pictures of it YET but I will next roll of film I have developed. If you were talking about general pictures, I have some at the site mentioned in my signature file below. I am also hoping to get my Moab photos up by the end of the day and link them to that page.
