Warn Industries offers many diffrent applications for mounting winches as well as many winches. Just go to www.warn.com also the owners manual for my winch says to take the max GVW of your truck and multiply that by 1.5 to get the appropriate size winch

I've got the Warn HD9.5Ti sitting in my basement, I've also got a Warn Trans4mer waiting ot be installed, they'll go in at the same time. I have the multi-mount winch, so I can use it int he trailer hitch or the front for front/rear winching.

Thats the exact setup I am hoping to do on mine once they release the kit for the 04s. Its too often I am paranoid about wheeling alone and getting stuck in east bumbafuk with nothing but a entrenching tool and a tow strap.

If you are going to play alone make sure you get a pullpal. It can come in handy as an anchor point for pulling when you are **** deep in the mud.

good set you have there.
I carry the following in my toolbox and in the cab.

3x30 tow strap
2 d-rings
hatchet
entrenching tool
gloves
flares
auto jumper
2 2x6s
jumper cables
folding chair
military disaster blanket
hammer
mag lite
Fire extinguisher
SigPro 40
200' climbing rope
tool box
knife
Laptop with GPS
Spotlight

I think thats about it

This is where you see my sig says I am in Northern Virginia (DC Metro) and you say, what the hell does he need all that for. lol

I travel down to So. VA monthly to wheel, fish and relax. The only thing I need for DC is the SigPro.
