fixing an oilpump

i blewup my oilpump how much r they and how hard is it to replace on an 82 full size bronco 4x4 an how long does it thake

Can you explain further? Oil pumps aren't known for blowing up.

Go buy a new oil pump then drop your oil pan. Its not a tough job.

You may have clearance problems to just drop the pan. if you have to raise it then its kinda a pain in the butt. i think that you do have to raise it.

seems like 82 bronco is a little confused with his terms. I think it is probably just not pumping. He probably has an 82 bronco hence the name and i believe you cant get the oil pump out or in just by dropping the pan because the frame only lets it come down a couple of inches. Looks like he has some work ahead of him.....

yea not a very expensive job to do yourself but a definite pan in the butt.

yup it is fixed but now i have a nock it it some where i put an addive to it an it quit it down
