off the top, Playa Azul hotel (upscale) really nice hi-rise. to the north are quite a few campgrounds on the water, some with taco stands and palapas in the campsites. at night, Crocadile rock in town, or others along the strip (all are walking/stumbling distance of your home or theirs)

In june I will be going to punta conejo, 1k mi. down, for 3wks-1month, it's 75 mi north of san lucas and 75 mi west of la paz. paradise, perfect surf, lobster, mota, osteones (oysters) cover the beach, and no work to do ('cept with my girl in the tent). the Ranch is 15 miles deep, and 6 mi of beachfront, plenny room for 'froadin drinkin, surfing(400yd point break out front) you are welcome to make the trek, if you dare.
