Can any one tell me which vaccum lines goes where on the vaccum activator on the front diff. I think I may have got them wrong.

Darin, I believe that if you are sitting in the truck, the outside (right) actuator on the firewall should be connected to the right connector on the vacuum actuator on the front axle. I just replaced my vacuum lines since the Ford factory ones got holes in them. My FWD would work off and on. Now it works great, everytime I need it. I replaced the original hard plastic Ford hoses with 3/16" rubber hoses.

 

Blue line goes from the outboard port on the shift motor to the left most solenoid on the firewall. The red line goes to what is left over, inboard port on shift motor to the right most solenoid.
