Truck Needs New Driveline

My truck only has 2,500 miles on it and has had a slight vibration at around 50 MPH and goes away at 55 MPH. I finally took it into ford today and they are saying that it needs a new driveline. They already ordered it. Is this going to cure my problem or just temp. cure it? I've got a 2002 2wd f150 extended cab short bed with the 5.4L motor. Any opinions?

My first guess woulda been wheel balancing given where the shimmy happens. Heck the truck is under warranty, let them replace all the ****. If it don't fix nothing you're no worse off than you were before.

That is what I thought too. But then after messing with it for a while, I realized that it only does it when I give it throttle. If i put it into neutral, then it doesn't do it.
