Gear Oil Weight

Going to change the gear oil in my brothers 97 4x4. He has the 3.55 open rear. Does this require the 75-140? How about the front weight? Any suggestions. He doesn't have his manual, so I don't know what it recommends.

Thanks,

John

Auburn & Eaton-Posi reccomend using 80W90. If you are leaving diff. carrier open--75W140 Synthetic.

I went ahead and ordered the Redline 75-140 for the rear and
75-90 for the front.
