Call a couple more dealers you may get lucky. Personally my truck is so modified im sure most of my warranty is null and void and if/when the times comes for warrany work I will just let em know everything thats been done. There are plenty of shops that will do gear swaps for ya.

Dealers are always reluctant to make performance mods because if they break and Ford won't cover it then they have to pick up the tab.

I wouldn't trust a dealer to install them anyways. Dealer techs almost never need to take rear ends apart and replace gears. Setting up a rear end correctly is probably as hard as rebuilding an engine. You want someone that does them all of the time, like a performance shop. I work at a dealer (not Ford) and i would be reluctant to install them myself unless i had a few days to spend on it, and i probably wouldn't trust any of my coworkers to do it even though they are all really smart techs.

Every time I read about dealers who give their customers the runaround I thank my lucky stars for my dealer...V&H Motor Co., Inc. in Lewisburg, PA has been nothing but helpful since I have owned the truck. They even installed my Edelbrock IAS shocks for me and also helped replace my O2 sensors. I shure wish everyone had a dealer as good as this small family owned dealership that is nothing but First Class.
