i currently have 3.08 gears with an open differential. i was wondering if anyone has bought 3.73 gears and a limited slip differential for their f150. (this is a 2wd by the way) if anyone can tell me how much they think it would cost me total, i'd appreciate it.

 

I got a quote about a month ago, I have the same setup you do. It was a tad under 5 hundred (didn't price locker/limited slip). Not bad I thought, but I think I am going to do it myself to same some labor.

 

If You are considering changing R/P, You might consider Ford Motorsport or US gear R/P (both are made in USA). I personally have had some problems using Motive Gear in the past (most are manufactured overseas).

I have no experience with Precision or Yukon gears. Richmond, in my opinion, is over rated and overpriced.
