Checking gear oil level
It would be the same as any rear-end. You will need to crawl under and get to the rear-end. Bring with you a socket and 1/2" adapter (thats what fits into the filler plug).
If your looking at the rear of your rear-end the fill plug is in the front of the rear-end. It is about half way up, you'll see it. Use your socket and adapter to loosen it and take it off. Once off it may or may not leak a little fluid out. If it does leak any fluid out then your done it is filled as needed. If not the, if possible put your pinky finger into the hole and see if you feel the fluid, or pull your finger out and see if there is some on your finger.
Your gear-oil level is good if it is to the bottom of the fill hole. If not you will need to add what ever is called for on yours. However if it is low you may just want to completely change it.
