Replacing bad u-joints

When putting my truck in reverse and drive I get a light "clunk" sound. I figure it is time to replace then u-joints. My question is, is it hard to replace u-joints? This would be my first time doing this and would appreciate some helpful advise .

All you need is a vise and you can do it. Just be careful of the needle bearings in the new joints. Tear into it, you will figure it out it s as easy as changing oil. You will need some fairly large sockets as well. One bigger than your bearing carrier and one smaller. You will see what I mean when you get your driveline to the vise. Good Luck!!
