How much fluid??

How many bottles of rear diff. fluid do I need to buy?? Also can I get a gasket from a place like auto zone or do I need to get it from the dealer??

Amount of fluid depends what rear end you have. Also: what you need depends on whether or not it's LS or open differential.

You'll probably need RTV sealant instead of a gasket.

Follow these instructions.

If the fluid you buy doesn't already have friction modifier, you'll need that as well.

If you don't have ls you won't need the friction modifier.
