brakes on bumps

if i try to brake while going over a bump or a rough road the pedal feels like it looses pressure... it just becomes soft and doesnt really stop.. it also makes a weird noise i thought something broke the first few times it happend...anyways i had my brakes checked and they said theres nothing wrong and it usually brakes fine but every now and then over bumps it decides not to stop well.. whats up with it?

I get the same feeling sometimes.
It is probably the anti lock kicking in. When you hit the bumps it momentarily tries to stop the rear wheels since they have much less wt then the fronts. The brake system senses this and reduces pressure to the rear wheels so they unlock.
Now for me it is happening a lot as I slow to a light. With the Transgo kit and the Superchip in combination with the 4:30 rear I will sometimes get a downshift chirp to the rear wheels and then I will feel the anti lock system release the them.
The anti-lock when it kicks in gives a funny vibration and sound. Does seem like something is wrong.

Personally i think Anti lock brakes causes more accidents then without them. There has been many times i have had to stop for an intersection under hard braking and hit a bump. I would have stoped just fine (before the white line) if not for the anti lock brakes kicking in and putting me halfway into the intersection
