Powertrax Clunking noise

Sometimes when i turn or make a slight trun i hear as thought the powertraxs are making a clunking, clicking noise. is this normal? should i be worried? also i have a clear differential cover and looks like the gear oil is really low. i took it to one place and they said thats all the differential will hold. does anyone know if it should be half way full? or can more be stored?

all of it sounds ok

the powertrax unit will make some noise in the corners sometimes. The rear ends are not filled all the way, if they are too full you will get fluid cavitation which increases the rate metal breaks down.

How do you like the powertrax system?

I love them other than the noise if makes. Grips really well, and it works awesome in the rain.

Where did you buy your powertrax system at, and how easy was it to install? I have non-lim. slip gears and was hoping to add some more traction without breaking the wallet.

Thanks

Scott

Alright, a couple of questions. I have a '97 f150 4x2 with 3.08 open gears. I was wondering which of the three on that page i would need? 28 or 31 spline, and what axle diameter? i'm lost.

Thanks
