gear swap

i have a 2002 f150 4.6L 2WD auto with the 3.08 gears. i want the 4.10 gears because i'm going to be putting 275/60/17's on my truck and i really need some more power. what exactly do i need to buy other than the ring and pinion. i'm hearing to get the limited slip and i'm also worried about the speedometer and the gear installation kit. i just wish someone could just clear me up on all of this. i really appreciate it.

Yeah, get the limited slip. You'll need an install kit. New gear lub, not cheap. You don't need new gears for the speedo, it's computer driven, your computer will need to be reburned at the dealer unless you have a chip then you have to send the chip back to be reprogramed, more $$$$$.If you plan on doing it yourself, you'll need torque wrenches, 2 different ranges, dial indicator, and various wrenches and sockets. Researce the job well before you decide what you're going to do.
