vent leaking

Question vent leaking

anyone have this problem? my 97 expedition is leaking fluid from the rear axle vent tube(leaves a nice puddle overnight)please help...

Yes, my 00 has been seeping from there since new. No drips yet. I am going to check to see if the nut is tight that holds the block to the axle. The vent hose is attached to the nut. Don't overtighten it is a hollow bolt.

My 2000 had the same problem, it would seep at the hose attaching to the fitting at the axle. My Service Dept. put a tie strap on the end of hose at the fitting. No problem since.
