NOISE UNDER DRIVER CARPET
When I get into my truck to pull out of the parking slot, i hear and fill a noise underneath the car- it almost feels like it is right below my feet. It sound like a grinding noise- what could this be? Do I have struts on this 1999 f150 v8 trition 4x4?
Hard to tell you the problem without looking at it. You basically have to crawl under and see what's loose or rubbing. look in the wheel well, do you what appears to be a shock inside a spring? If you do then you have struts. I don't think you have them.

Nope you don't have them. 4x4s use torsion bars not struts.

sig, are you turning all the way to the stops? Have had that happen before. Try lubing the turning stops under truck, this may be your problem.</font>
