Clunk in rear end
Hii, i have a 98 f150 2wd with a 6" rcd lift and 4.30 gears. ever since they regeared i have a sort of "clunk" in the rear end. the truck begins to move then "clunk". almost feels like the gas tank is full and shifts back or the rear disk breaks let lose really hard. the offroad place said it was my limited slip locking out or posi or something. he sorta said it all fast. does this sound familiar to anyone? posi locking out? im stumped and i never trust those offroad places. some feedback would be greatly appreciated.. thanks.

Spring shifting in the spring pack. Sounds/feels like a bottle of washer solvent rolling to the back of the trunk of a car, right? That's where I'd put my money. Take it to a good suspension shop and let them look at it.

or re-grease your slip yoke. either could be the culprit.
