Rusted steering BOX ???
I have alway's noticed that my steering box is kinda rusty looking, what causes this or can anything be done to stop it. I knotice it on all the vehicles that I have looked under, just kinda curious...

it is normal. it is actually pre-rusted with chemicals at the plant the rust is actually the rust protection!!

trust me on this one!

I sandblasted mine and painted it with Ford dark blue engine enamel.
