Post My first LS differential - maintenance differences?

I'm still getting used to the way the LS on my truck feels when one wheel is on pavement and the other on loose gravel! Is servicing different for the LS?

Cool

Yes, you have to pop a bottle of friction modifier in during oil changes.

Clarification: pop in the fricton modifier when you change the rear end lube, not at oil changes.

(I can see a post 6 months from now... "I can't fit any more friction modifier in my rear end. Should I drain some out?" )

Cool

Since we are speaking of servicing a LS rear end, that should be obvious. Of course you never know about people; seeing that this topic is always covered in any vehicle owner's manual.
