Question automatic lockouts

Just looking for any info on fixing the automatic lockouts on my dads 94 Explorer. is there any way of rebuilding the automatics or would it just be easier to get the manual conversion kit? -thanks

manual conversion kit would save you a bit of money and a lot of frustration. Plus, the warn suckers are a hell of a lot stronger. You've got the ability to unlock the hubs (don't know how much 4 wheeling you do); if you break an axle, you can unlock the hubs and be ok to limp it home. IMHO, I'd change my lack of hubs to the auto/manual hubs they have on the superduty.... those are the best of both worlds.
