Vibration in shifter

Howdy. I've been a long time lurker here, it's a great site. I do have a question: Right around 40-45mph the floor shifter has a vibration/rattle noise that is driving me nuts. It will stick around for a little while and then go away. Letting of the gas does not seem to help. Also, in 4hi it makes the same rattle. The dealer has installed a new shifter assy with no help...they are baffled and so am I. They think that it is some other vibration from the truck that happens to end up at the shifter. Has this happened to anyone else?

My shifter freakin' rattle's to high hell. I've got used to it though, so it does'nt really bother me. But it looks like Ford could do a little better than this! The next truck I get will be an automatic. I'll problably have trouble out of it too. What's this world coming to?

The driveline, at the time of that post, had something to do with it. But 7700gvw, take a look at my post under yours.
