my 96 fullsize bronco seems to wants to start out in 4x4 every time i back up and start forward? this is happening while in 2wd. it sounds like it is trying to ingage or disingage for a short distance, then all of sudden when i slow down it pops and then it is fine until the next time i back up and go forward! thanks for any help with this problem! if you have an answer it might be faster to e-mail me at wmyersb@yahoo.com.

 

TO unlock the hubs, you have to back up 10 feet with a S turn. Most likely you are just locking and unlocking them. Your best bet is to just get rid of the autos and install some good manual hubs.
