Angry 97 f-150 4x4 problems

My truck took its self out of 4high when I was on a snow covered
road and ever sence it hasnt been the same . It is a 97 with a 4.6
This is the first time I have had any problems with the 4x4 and it would have to be a push button system.
The moter that puts it in 4x4 isnt bad ,I put 12volts to it and it turned but the system isnt turning it ,I can here the relays under
the dash and the moter makes a little bit of noise .
I have also taken the moter off and turned it manually and the front drive shaft will spin but not the front tires .
I dont know that much about 4x4s with independant front suspention.........PLEASE HELP..............and if you now were the
4x4 fuses are please share ,I dont have an owners manual

FILL FREE TO EMAIL ME WITH
AN ANSWER OR AT LEAST WERE THE FUSES
ARE.

It would seem that your front axle in not engaging. Check the vacuum lines to the front axle actuator motor. The selonoids are on the firewhall next to the battery. The vacuum reservoir is behind the battery case.
