Post Gear Help!

I've got a 98 F-150 4.6 4X4 with 33" tires. I have two sets of precision made gears, a set of 4.56's and a set of 4.10's, which ones should I use and does anyone have a simular setup that could give me some feed back, positive and negative in respect to both setups. Thanks

TD

I also have a 4x4 with 33's and just stock 3.55's. Around town, it's nice, but when towing, the 4.10 would really come in handy. Most people I know run stock 3.55 or 4.10 with 33" tires. If you plan to upgrade to 35" tires I would definitely suggest the 4.10 and if you plan on towing regularly, maybe the 4.56. And then if you go any bigger, 36" tires or larger, I would definitely go with the 4.56. I too need to swap gears and I think I will go with 4.56 because I'm going to put on 35" tires and I do tow occasionaly. And maybe one day 36" tires. I hope this helps some. Also where did you get your gears? Maybe if you decide to go with 4.10, I wouldn't mind taking the others off your hands. Again I hope this helps.

I bought the gears from Drivetrain Warehouse. As for the spare set of gears, I'm going to return the set I do not use, which will most likely be the 4.10's. Thanks for the help!

Does Drivetrain Warehouse have a website? And how much was it for the 4.56s (front & rear)?

Thanks,

Jay
