I just purchased a 2000 Ford F250 with a V10. I am trying to determine what rear end ratio the truck has, but there is no code on the Vehicle Certification under Rear Axle. Is there any other option besides climbing under the rear axle and trying to decifer the tag. Please help. Thanks is advance.

 

If there's nothing on the door jamb sticker, you can get the actual ratio off of the tag...So, yes, crawling under. Take some WD-40 to clean it off on a rag.
