4X Low noise
During a recent snowfall, I used 4x Low for the first time. (my baby is only 6K old)
She made an aweful weezzzing sound (kinda like vaccum leak). Is this normal or does she need looked at...this is my first 4X and 4th F-series BTW.
Shes a 2000 4.6 Auto ORP...

Hmmm. Trying to figure out what your description of the sound means.
Let me put it this way. When you're in 4Low, reduction gears come into play and you will hear a gear whine that gets progressively louder the faster you go. It's even louder if you have the floor shift since the lever transmits the sound into the cab.
