My 4x4 is not working…I am pretty sure it is the actuators, but jacked it up so all four wheels are off the ground. When I put it in 4x4 the driveshaft to the front difff turns and only the passenger side 1/2 shaft turns. Is this normal?

I was testing that everything worked up to the actuators, but expected both shafts to turn.

 

It can be normal, the front diff is open, not limited slip. Does the wheel turn? If not, the hub is not engaged. If it does turn, safely stop it and the other side should turn.

 

I didn’t know the front diff was open. I put some resistance on the passenger side and the drivers side started to turn. Swapped out both iwe and working great now. Thank you!
