Differential fitment

Hi 93 F150 2WD #19 axel 3:55 gears one legged
does anyone have info re what LS will fit?
how far forward in years.
there are some <350$ buys on Amazon but for newer trucks.
axel dia. Not sure.
Truck is nice, all redone but Canada winter need 4x4 or LS. Have a newer truck to park for winter, the old guys been in the family since ‘94

Direct swap is 87-96 F150 with 8.8" rear, assuming yours is 8.8. This is what the 8.8" cover looks like:

Heavy Duty Ford 8.8 Inch Differential Cover Revolution Gear

Will this fit?

  • Copied from Amazon but the “select vehicle” (93 f150) says no fit.
  • existing diff is 8.8 no LS, no idea what spline or axel diameter.
  • Wonder if fitment search is accurate on Amazon?
  • none of these ads ever say much about axel which is a “19” on door tag.
  • ”””Vehicle Fitment】Fit Ford 8.8 Inches with 31 Spline Axles, All Gear Ratios, 1.32 Inches Axle Shaft Diameter; Heavy Duty Composite Clutches, 400lb Springs and Forged 4130 Internals
  • 【Specification】Compatible Gear Ratios: All; Axle Cover Bolt Hole Quantity: 10; Axle Splines: 31; Carrier Bearing Included: Yes
  • 【Reference Number】The A-Premium differential assembly's reference number: 19588-010, 19588010. Before placing an order, verify that the part is compatible with your vehicle using the compatibility system.”””

From what I can find, it's most likely 31 spline but no idea of the diameter. Other than pulling an axle and measuring and counting, I don't know how to nail it down.
