Hey guys I'm new to this site so I'm not sure if this is common but I just recently bought a 98 f150 and for some reason the previous owner pulled the 4wd actuator electrical connections. I was wondering why anyone would do that or is it a fix for something else wrong with the system. I've seen somewhere on this site someone say it was to stop a grinding noise but wasn't able to confirm. Thanks for any help provided,
